The Prayer Journal Method That Actually Stuck
I’ve started — and abandoned — more prayer journals than I can count. Pretty covers, blank pages, good intentions, zero follow-through.
What finally worked wasn’t a fancier journal. It was a simpler page. Every morning, same four prompts:
Thank You — one specific gratitude.
Please — one honest request.
For Them — one person I’m praying for today.
Amen — one line on what I’m trusting God with.
Four lines. Two minutes. Done before the coffee cools. The secret was never the journal — it was making the page so simple there was no excuse to skip it.
